Hundreds flock to Knightswood Community Centre for open day

KNIGHTSWOOD Community Centre opened its doors on Sunday 25th March to show off just how much they have to offer – and residents turned out in droves.

An estimated 800 to 1,000 people turned out to the showcase to try Fit and Fun, Zumba with Kirsty, a display by Knightswood Dog Training Club, a performance by Glasgow Senior Citizens Orchestra, Knightswood Youth and Community Theatre, Shona Campbell School of Dance, Ignite Theatre, the table tennis club, West of Scotland Mineral and Lapidary Society, displays of crafts, knitting, art, face painting and balloon modelling.
